It became known that the Ministry of Mass Communications of the Russian Federation prepared a draft decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On the Day of the Programmer” based on the consideration of the appeal of domestic programmers on the approval of the official holiday “Programmer's Day”.

At this stage, the draft decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On the Day of the Programmer” is being coordinated with federal executive bodies in accordance with the Procedure for considering proposals of federal executive bodies on the establishment of professional holidays and memorable days, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 16, 2000 No. 225.
