There will never be ads on Twitter
Twitter has a bunch of ways to make money on its service. The problem of monetization, which everyone is constantly talking about, is actually a problem of choice. What will happen is still unknown. But now it has become clear that advertising (media or contextual) is not considered at all as an option.
Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has officially announced that his company's future earnings will come from paid services, not from advertising. According to Stone, some of these paid services will be launched this year. Of course, this will in no way affect ordinary users who are guaranteed free service as part of the basic functionality.
Biz Stone said that advertising is not interesting to them for several reasons, and in the foreseeable future it will not be, despite the characteristic hints from Google. The company neither now nor in the future plans to hire personnel who would be engaged in the advertising area. Now the company employs a little more than 40 people, and by the end of the year the number of employees should double.
