Status bar for dwm

The  window manager “dwm” has a modest status line on which you can display arbitrary text, for example: current date and time, battery level, percentage of system load, etc.

I wrote a Perl script for myself to monitor the time, speed of the network stream, memory and processor load, sound level and playing music. It looks like this:
