About the letter ё

    Unicode means there are four ways to write the letter “ё”.

    First, in Russian: ё. In Unicode, the character is called U + 0451 CYRILLIC SMALL LETTER IO.

    Secondly, not in Russian: ë. In Unicode: U + 00EB LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH DIAERESIS

    Well, and thirdly, you can use the combi character in Russian (e) or Latin (e) letters: ё ë. It looks a bit sloppy, but sometimes it can ride.
