Email addresses with a dot in the login

Users have long asked for permission to start mailboxes with a dot in the login (for example, ivan.petrov@yandex.ru ). From today, there is such an opportunity.

For those services where your login is at the same time the domain name (for example, Ya.ru or People), the dot will be equivalent to a hyphen. Thus, Username ivan.petrov, you will receive mail sent and mail ex: john.smith@yahoo.co.uk , and ivan-petrov@yandex.ru . The address of your Yarushka will be ivan-petrov.ya.ru. 

If your login contains a period, then you can log in with a period or a hyphen.

And, of course, the obvious: if you do not have a Yandex username yet, hurry up to take a beautiful name .
