Apple Releases New Xserve Server on Intel Xeon 5500 “Nehalem”!
Today, April 7, Apple released the new Xserve server, using the new energy-efficient Intel Xeon 5500 “Nehalem” processors.
The new Xserve model is about 80% faster than the previous generation (with the same processor frequency), and some STREAM performance (Massive Memory Bandwidth) has grown as much as 2.4 times, while Xserve consumes 19% less power.
Also there was an option to install 128GB SSD Storage!
Apple Xserve is now touted as an energy-efficient and green server,
