Yesterday it became known that Hans Reiser , the developer of the ReiserFS file system, was arrested on suspicion of the murder of his wife Nina Reiser.
ReiserFS is plagued by sheer failure. Despite all the efforts of the developers, this FS was never included in the kernel , in August the team was preoccupied with finding a job , and most recently Suse Labs refused to use ReiserFS as the main file system for its OS. Now here is the arrest of the head.
In connection with these events, the further development prospects of ReiserFS look vague.
