MTS: Silent Sapa Fraud
About 10 days ago I received an SMS from number 9505 with the following text:
Promotion! You have GOOD'OK service activated for free and a RED-style melody is set for 14 days free of charge. Details are on www.goodok.mts.ru or by number 05700. The call is free. I
must say that I do not like all these tunes instead of the classic beeps, I consider them cheap foppiness or fun for teens. So I didn’t get enthusiastic about this service, on the contrary, it strained that instead of beeps, callers would hear some rollicking Bilan-Kirkor wise-wise guy. But she didn’t do anything - after all, this shame was only for two weeks. And yesterday I’m catching a new SMS all from the same nine-thousand-pizzot-fifth number:

That is, not only did MTS dishonor me for half a month, creating the image of an engineer who was fond of mobilefireballs - this company decided to extend these entertainments, which was not abhorrent to grandmothers , but for my money, it was modestly silent about their cost, hidden for "Price cat. 2". Naturally, I rang in a completely scandalous state at MTS. Naturally, I called on the reference number 0890, and not on 0550, which was NOT mentioned either about the price of the call, nor about its charge (remember the first SMS: “by number 05700. The call is free” ). For about 10 minutes I expressed to the poor MTS operator everything that I think about MTS, about hervap-scam , about changing the interval of GPRS-tariffication and about what the imposition of services is pure fraud. I received a rejection of the service and after 10 minutes a third SMS arrived:

And last week I received an invoice from Akado - 43 rubles for using a TV antenna. I called. They say that, they say, 1 month for 2008 is not paid. Given that I haven’t paid for (and haven’t used) a TV antenna since 2006, it’s an extremely strange account, clearly aimed at the fact that no one will get in touch with 43p, it’s easier to pay than to understand. We’ll figure it out ... Well, Akado, hold on.
Fighters against piracy from "competent" bodies! Perhaps it’s enough to drag schoolchildren on the courts for installing wards and using peering? Maybe it’s time to protect ordinary citizens from extortion, fraud and robbery by "reputable" companies?
