Probably many have encountered such a problem as the inability to burn CD / DVD under an unprivileged user account.
Programs like ImgBurn, Infrarecorder, Small CD writer, and Nero simply don't see a single drive.
Ahead Nero in this situation recommends using a separate utility called Nero BurningRights, but there is a simpler way. which works with all disc burning software.
Just open the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy or execute secpol.msc.
In the "Local Security Settings" window that opens, go to Local Policies -> Security Settings -> Devices: allow access to CD drives only to local users -> Enable
After this simple operation, all the free utilities for burning discs and Nero work fine under a user account, without installing additional programs such as Nero BurningRights.
