USB KVM and the differences between Linux and Windows

I wanted to make myself a comfortable workplace with two computers (Windows and Linux), but one keyboard and mouse. It seems that it could be easier, buy KVM and rejoice. But the soul required a USB KVM. To everything in a modern way, the year 2009 is in the yard. As a result, it turned out that when switching to Windows, there is a delay of 5 seconds while Windows redefines the "connected" device. Naturally, during this time, keyboard and mouse do not work at all. When you switch to Ubuntu, everything is picked up on the fly.

And to connect ps / 2 to Claudia in Linux you just need to stick it in, and in Windows - you need to boot with it ...

No conclusions will be :) I still like both operating systems. Linux is simply much more convenient, and Windows has to be used for work.
