SMS voting - a way to circumvent piracy

Take, for example, the film Slumdog Millionaire, which has raised more than $ 100 million for its creators in movie theaters in large cities. What did the inhabitants of the province do, where there are not only movie theaters, but also the legal sale of DVDs? Well, it’s understandable - they took out disks from acquaintances or downloaded from the Internet, multiplying the headache of media corporations.

But most residents of the same slums already have a mobile phone and still have a TV. But the movie will be shown on the box only after a year or two. In vain, video content producers are missing out on such tremendous potential.

Maybe they need to take a chance and allow the premieres on television with a short number in the corner of the screen for sending thank-you SMS (as in Eurovision) and an appeal to vote for the film.

    All is well :)

Such a scheme may be of interest to mobile operators, television channels, producers and, first of all, viewers who watched a new film, without feeling like violators of the law.
