Hodja Nasruddin

Correct me, please, if I break the rules of Habr with a sim post (because the remnants of karma are still important :)).
Yesterday I finished reading The Tale of Hodge Nasreddin by Soloviev. Not for a second could I get rid of the question: “Why? Why is there still no cartoon masterpiece of the book? ”
If you read a book, I think you understand me. If not, just imagine the main character, with the keen mind of the most sophisticated swindler, and the stunning, kind heart that leads Khoja through life. Presented? Now add to this the flavor of the Middle East of the 18th century. And, the finishing touch is a little gray donkey (hmm ... in which cartoon have I seen a gray donkey?). This explosive mixture, in a beautiful package (for example, from Pixar , or from the Mill) is capable of blowing up more than one cinema with laughter.
By the way, for Pixar, with his futuristic, roof-carrying cartoons, this could be something new :).
I am writing here, in the hope that the post will catch the eye of the right people :). After all, how is it in the Theory of the Small World? We all know Steve Jobs through 6 handshakes?
ZYZh 1996–1997 was declared International Nasreddin Year by UNESCO :) [wiki]
