Is the list parallel or perpendicular?

    The audience has a maximum of 10-15 seconds to perceive the slide. If during this time the information does not enter the brain, then the slide is useless. Parallel lists just allow you to reduce the time of perception of the text.

    Let's look at an example:

    It seems that there is not much text, but something is not right in it, the information does not "fit" easily and simply.

    The fact is that a parallel structure is violated in the list:
    1. all the sentences in the list must be in one form: either complete (subject + predicate) or abbreviated (one);
    2. the first words of the list should be the same part of speech, and in one form, person, voice, form, etc. (depending on the part of speech).

    Another thing, after small transformations:

    “They are ..., they create ..., they increase ..., they pay ...”.

    It seems to be a trifle, but the general success of the presentation is made up of such trifles.
