Rubik 360 - Rubik's Ball

    image
The inventor of the famous logical toy in the form of a cube Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Erno Rubik presents his new logical toy made in the form of a ball.

The new version of the Rubik's Cube, called the “Rubik 360”, consists of three transparent spheres placed in each other, in the center there are six colorful balls. The bottom line is to transport a certain number of colored balls from a transparent inner sphere to the corresponding cells on the outer sphere. They get there through the middle sphere, in which there are only two holes.
The Hungarian inventor invented his first logical toy - the Rubik's Cube in 1974, but he managed to interest the manufacturers only in 1980. To date, around 350 million copies of the Rubik's Cube have been sold worldwide.
A full presentation of the Rubik's ball will be held on February 5 (that is, on Thursday) at the Toy Industry Fair in Germany.

Professor Erno Rubik speaks of his new creation: “360 is one of the most innovative and exciting puzzles since the invention of the cube. To solve it, it takes skill, logic and dexterity. ”
However, in addition to examples of exceptional giftedness in assembling a cube, there are examples of exceptional awkwardness. So, the English builder Graham Parker spent 26 years solving the puzzle, and he tried to put it together almost every day. When the last color block fell into place, the Englishman burst into tears.
Nothing, thanks to the Rubik ball, Parker will have something to do

upd for the next 26 years : a review of the puzzle by Dan Harris - two-time champion in assembling the Rubik's cube in the UK (above in the photo). To whom too lazy to translate - it says there about the following:
“The main difference between the Ball and the Cube is that it does not require mathematics to solve. If in Cube the fastest solution was based on formulas (which was recently discussed on Habré) and it can be assembled from any position, then 360 does not require mathematics, but physics - the secret is to maintain weight and balance.
My cube build record is about ten seconds. The first attempt to collect the ball took me two days, the second couple of hours, and now I can collect it in a few minutes. As with the cube, a lot of practice helps.
However, I’m not sure that the Ball will become more popular than the Cube, in particular in the assembly for speed. ”

Free translation :-) I apologize if something
messed up upd2: the instruction appeared in English (but everything is clear :-)
