Aspire One "has grown"
The first quarter of 2009 will mark the release of the new Acer Aspire One netbook model with a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels.
The following are known about the technical characteristics of the new product. Processor - Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, RAM - 2 GB (one DIMM bar), 3G and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR modules (optional), 3 USB ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi. In addition, the manufacturer has tuned not too comfortable touchpad. In the 10-inch Aspire One, the buttons are now located at the bottom of the touch panel. Three Aspire One colors will be available - red, white and black.
The netbook will come preloaded with Windows XP.
In general, the new machine - a job well done on the few mistakes of the previous model. So the already successful 9-inch Aspire One in February 2009 will acquire an excellent heir. It is a pity that the cost is not yet known.
