ByCamp 2008. Innovation. The Internet. Initiative.
The non-conference was attended by more than 200 participants from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Germany, several new projects were presented in four session audiences, web developers conducted active discussions on professional topics, bloggers, podcasts, designers, people with various interests actively communicated, talked about successful solutions in the Belarusian sector of the Network.
A real discovery for ByCamp participants was the presentation of 4Invest - an innovation incubator at BSUIR, where young developers are actively experimenting with high performance computing, get advice on implementing business projects involving venture capital (did you know before ByCamp that there are 2 angels in Belarus?). ByCamp was the answer to the demands of the developing sector of online technologies, where developers lack communication with potential audiences, colleagues and investors.
On the second day of ByCamp, there were thematic discussions in a comfortable environment (bloggers, podcasts, online journalists, web application developers - open source fans), and the participants themselves organized, moving from one party to another.
The non-conference was attended by representatives of Opera , Yandex , MTS ,Bigmir and a number of others who communicated freely and on equal terms with all interested. People received direct answers to the most tricky questions to companies whose representatives were not afraid to share insider information.
According to participants, a number of new projects received excellent feedback and prospects for financing, and companies received the opportunity to communicate directly with developers and active users of their services.
Do not forget about the rest. The first and second days ended with parties where bikers could relax after intense brain activity;)
