New Chrome

Finally, the release of the first version, which had already managed to catch both a storm of applause, and a bucket of slops of the Google Chrome browser, took place.

PC Magazine conducted a series of tests to determine how much the product has grown compared to the beta version. It turned out that the speed of work increased by 24%, which allows you to put Chrome on the next rung with Mozilla Firefox 3.1 beta 2. It also talks about improving the display of such popular sites as Facebook, and the good old benchmark Sunspider shows a slight increase in the speed of Javascript.
However, there are still a lot of sites that give the “Unsupported Browser” error when trying to access them through chrome. For example, this is Microsoft's Office Live website.
A full review of the new version can be found on the website of the magazine itself .
The version is already available through the standard Google Update, so your Chrome is most likely not beta :)
