Falcon Northwest Mach V - the fastest PC in the world

    image

According to testing done at Cnet labs, the Falcon Northwest Mach V is the fastest personal computer on the planet (yet) that is ahead of the previous record holder: Alienware Area-51 ALX. But how fast? Well, let's say, this is the first machine capable of delivering 60 fps in Crysis at maximum graphics settings. Until now, no other "staff" has succeeded.

Cnet writes that Mach V combines the latest and greatest combinations of components, and here is a list of them:

    • 3.79GHz Intel Core i7 965 Extreme Edition.
    • An Intel X58 chipset.
    • 12GB 1.066MHz DDR3 SDRAM.
    • 2 x 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
    • 1TB 7,200 RPM Hitachi.
    • 80GB Intel X-25M SSD.

All this beauty is available for $ 8,028, though the red color of the system unit (this is Ferrari's signature color) will cost an additional $ 500. They say she is able to add 3 extra frames per second.
