Google Maps Street View Looks New
Google Maps made major improvements to Street View yesterday. It's all about a little green man. Now users can drag a small human figure called “Pegman” onto any street highlighted in the process of dragging in blue and see its so-called preview. When Pegman “lands” (just drag it to the right place and release the button), the map turns into a detailed, photographic street view with guiding landmarks that can be expanded to the entire width of the browser. During the virtual walk, you can change the viewing angle , as if you were standing on this street yourself.
It is clear that while this does not work everywhere, I looked at the example of Paris, but it definitely captivates. This video shows how it looks and how to use it.
