The NEC company, or rather its Asia Pacific division, was noted as the replenishment of the all-in-one PowerMate line of computers. In this capacity, two new products appeared - PowerMate P4000 and PowerMate P6000. Both “monoblocks” are undoubtedly handsome externally and possess completely modern technical characteristics.
The "younger" model - PowerMate P4000 - is equipped with a 1.9-gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-60 processor, a 250 GB hard drive, 1 GB of RAM and integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9100M G. The display on this PC is widescreen. With a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels. Relatively “sophisticated” PowerMate P6000 is equipped with a larger display - 19 inches, 1440 × 900 pixels. And the hardware is cooler: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53 GHz, 500 GB HDD, 2 GB DDR2 RAM and an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9300 graphics card. Both PCs also have a DVD cutter, Gigabit LAN, and an integrated Wireless LAN adapter. Wireless keyboard and mouse included.
New branded monoblocks cost a lot of money. PC PowerMate P4000 will cost $ 1270, and PowerMate P6000 - $ 1675. Prices, especially compared to the recently announced Eee Top“Up to $ 500” (yes, it’s not so “cool” and all that, but the price ...), bite. If you remove Vista from there (and both computers come with a preinstalled OS from Microsoft), then it would be at least a little, but cheaper.
