Sourceforge officially announced application hosting
SourceForge, the world's largest hosting of Opensource projects, has officially announced that it will now also provide full-fledged application hosting. The system allows you to host Hosted Apps on integrated hosting and manage the project through SourceForge.net.
Any existing application can be transferred to SourceForge hosting. At the moment there are only three of them (LimeSurvey, MediaWiki, phpBB), access to applications is carried out using the “Hosted Apps” button on the project management page (“Admin” menu).
In fact, a preliminary announcement of this event was published a month ago on the forum , so today's post is not great news for insiders and active members of the Sourceforge community.
Additional information about the new service can be found here .
