Interactive Wall Panasonic Lifewall

At CEATEC, which is currently taking place in Japan, Panasonic introduced the hefty, full-wall interactive Lifewall TV, which can recognize people's movements and faces.

This thing, showing the video, is able to adjust the size of the image depending on the distance at which the person is. In addition, the image can move after the person. Panasonic called this technology Stay-With-Me-TV. Provided in Lifewall and IP-cameras, which allows for "videophone" conferences.

The display (it’s even strange to call the whole wall simply “display”, but it is) allows you to work with photos: the simplest operations of rotation, resizing, zoom, etc. All this is done only with gestures. Without touching the screen.

During the demonstration of the new product, a Panasonic representative noted that, despite the simplicity of the interface (it was called Easy-Gesture-TV), it takes some time to get used to it. And strong arm muscles. Otherwise, you won’t get enough of it.

In addition, Lifewall can also serve as a decorative element. Yet he occupies a whole wall. So in the "wallpaper" mode, this should also look great.

Panasonic Lifewall is still only a prototype. The manufacturer claims that the commercial sale of the product will be possible only in 5-10 years. Such a thing will cost, apparently, crazy money.

There is also a video demonstration with CEATEC:
