Solar Powered Wireless Keyboard

Japanese company Buffalo introduced the BSKBW01SB wireless keyboard. In general, it is quite ordinary, except for the additional control buttons and a small rotary panel above the digital unit - a solar battery - due to which the keyboard works.

Despite the fact that for the keyboard to work, the energy generated by the solar battery is enough, it also provides for the presence of ordinary “finger” batteries. They are needed to “launch” and establish communication, as well as to work in the dark.

The cost of BSKBW01SB is $ 120. The question arises: can it be better to change the batteries more often than to lay out a considerable amount for such a device? Although the "green" is clearly to taste.
