Habra Editor for those who write articles

Habrausers and authors of articles I bring to your attention my HabraRedactor project , which allows you to take a slightly new look at writing articles for Habr. Habra Editor was created mainly for personal use. It implements those things that were missing for me when writing articles.

What is

• Spacious interface not burdened with extra blocks of text;
• wide, almost full screen, text input fields;
• convenient toolbar;
• the main input field is significantly enlarged for better navigation through the text;
• All Habrahabr tags are supported;
• all tags work with selected text, now you can select a block of lines and make a list out of it, like the one you are reading now;
• convenient insertion of tags such as img, a, user, font, youtube;
• resolved at the root of the problem with habracut'om, automatic insertion of this tag;
• there is a preview that the truth is still being finalized;
• there is a panel for displaying the syntax highlighting service poison.qsh.ru;
• automatic copying of the received text to the clipboard;
• transliteration;
• character map;
• saving drafts.

HabRedactor testing was carried out on the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer 7;

• Firefox 2.0.0.14;
• Firefox 3.0.

What is planned

• finalize the preview;
• make a panel with a Habr display;
• Improve browser support
• perhaps realize the ability to save drafts.
