SCO goes to court again

The SCO Group, a company that at one time was widely known for litigating with IBM over its alleged patents for many components of OC Linux, after a long hiatus again filed a loud lawsuit against blogger Pamela Jones.

For the past three and a half years, Pamela, in her articles on the Groklaw blog, has been considering in detail all SCO lawsuits, conducting their legal analysis and trying to get to the bottom of the roots of such aggressive behavior. In the blogosphere and especially among the Open Source community, she has long become a real celebrity and had a very wide audience.

This fact is said to have become a real fix idea for the SCO leadership, which has repeatedly stated that Jones is a completely fictional character, possibly even the fruit of creativity of several authors working for IBM. They unambiguously dismissed most of her posts as slander.

The discontent of the brawler company has now resulted in a lawsuit, the purpose of which is to find out the ways in which Pamela is connected with IBM.
