5 Tips for Layout

Among the Russian-language blogs on web development, the next chain of posts began - tips for the layout designer. They also relayed the baton to me, but I thought for a long time whether to accept it or not. In the end, I decided to do it in a peculiar way. I voiced it on my blog, but decided to write them here, in the hope that they will be useful to the habrasociety.

And so, my five tips for the layout designer:

1 . Never listen to anyone’s layout tips unless you ask.

2 . Be attentive to the little things, because they ultimately make up the impression of your work.

3 . Be disciplined. Write code without errors, by the most stringent standards. These are not cheap show-offs, but the main way to avoid mistakes and not “get lost” in the code.

4 . Take an interest in what you do. Study versatile even those questions that you think you already have an answer to.

5 . Inspect your old work from time to time. If, when considering one of them, it turns out that you would not want to change anything at all in it, it's time to think about changing your profession;)
