It will kill that!

“This will kill that” - quote from “Notre Dame de Paris” by Victor Hugo.

In ancient times, in order to convey to people around the world their thoughts, it was necessary to create monumental monuments, so all the arts worked specifically on the creation of monuments. After the appearance of books for a similar task, it was enough to just print a book, some books survived by the durability of the building. Now it’s enough to launch an Internet meme on social networks or publish an interesting post without having to worry about it.

All this I said on the day of the donor of the book, after I gave the library half of my home library. Why do I need a shelf with books that I will not read if there is a Moshkov library? I got rid of excess, and even enrolled in benefactors :)

PS I advise you to read the second chapter of the fifth book of the Notre Dame Cathedral by V. Hugo:
