Paid web 2.0 is already a reality
The appearance of the service of paid online consultations uznai.ru was predicted three years ago, when the Answers.Mail.ru appeared. It was planned that people would help each other free of charge to look for answers to any questions. Mail.ru service instantly turned into a place for flooding the audience of the puberty period (for example, the last question at the time of the publication of this post otveti.mail.ru/question/15467118 ), which should have happened to him.
It always seemed to me that the expert is a busy, demanded person and he certainly will not waste time giving free consultations as part of the "free content" web 2.0 paradigm. Experts value themselves and their time, they clearly understand that time costs money. They do not have enough “salary” in the form of recognition of their own expertise by other members of the community or increase in user ratings. But a mixture of rating (affecting income) and real money (for each consultation) will suit any expert in a particular field.
What I had to argue in the framework of the mini-section "Secrets of creating niche communities" a month ago on KiB is already coming true! Over the past month, this is the second project that fits well with the concept of "paid web 2.0". The first project of this kind wasgooroo.ru , which allows you to earn money by advising potential employers on the candidacy of talented friends.
One can only guess in what area the next breakthrough of paid web 2.0 will happen. But reading the next flame in my RSS-reader, I dream of a time when each material published by the user will be carefully screened out by other users (rating) and paid for by the advertising revenue of the site. After all, if a user wrote interesting material, then he attracted visitors to the site and they, by viewing the ads, helped the site earn more money. And if the user has earned money for the site, then why the site does not share income with it?
Maybe super hubr-2 will offer us a similar model?
