Mozilla Selects Mindtouch as Future Platform for Developer Community

    MindTouch has announced the release of the latest open source platform Deki Wiki “Jay Cooke” v8.05. In part, the release was released as a result of pressure from Mozilla, which chose the MindTouch platform to re-launch its Mozilla Developer Community.

    The new release provides multilingual support for Polyglot, including the Russian language. Language support is key to the Mozilla Developer Community , previously there were 16 separate sites, one for each language.



    Now Mozilla does not need separate sites, since Polyglot includes content from around the globe in a centralized place. The user interface language of the Deki Wiki is automatically detected. In addition, the search result is also displayed by default. Finally, Deki Wiki v8.05 supports OpenSearch , which makes integration with other applications an easy and enjoyable task.

    This release includes a long list of new features for both administrators and new tools for users, more than 100 new features have been added to DekiScript, the ability to block users by IP addresses and much more.
