Screwed up again

Here is a letter received by the participants of the Microsoft Partner Conference the day after its completion:

Dear partners! We consider it necessary to inform you that on the part of the flash drives handed out at the Partner Forum, along with the materials of the Forum, an extraneous program RavMonE.exe with malicious code (presumably a Trojan virus) was discovered.

Before using the flash drive, we ask you to check it for malware, which we recommend always to do with any medium connected to your computer.
We are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the incident of how the malicious code appeared on the media.
