I think that those who study and intend to enter a Belarusian university are not very pleased with the conduct and system of Centralized Testing (hereinafter CT).
The problem is this: CT is more like CT - Collective Farm Testing. After attending Rehearsal Testing (Trial in the common people), I had just this opinion. 150-200 people stand near the audience and hope they get there or not. The juice itself is when all this “brain mass” rushes into this poor audience and begins to take up places. The whole point of the CT is not to test the student’s knowledge, but to show how worthless he is. All compatriots will forgive me, but I hate this system. Tests become more and more complicated every year, tasks that are not passed in the basic program at school are specially selected. They are studied separately with a tutor and in all kinds of additional classes at school. The main reason for the complexity of the tests is the shortfalls in vocational schools. I will quote one very influential person in our country who has already managed to annoy all neighboring countries: “We have shortages in vocational schools, we do not have enough labor. Why do we need one hundred foremen per worker? We really need labor. ” Consequently, after the signing of bureaucratic pieces of paper, places in the budget form of education began to decrease sharply in our country and paid places appeared. Yes, it’s all because of the energy crisis and “all-that”, but the fact remains. I do not deny that in our country such a thing as “Brain Drain” will flourish. And all because with good brains a person will receive pennies, and abroad, “beyond the hill”, with the same education, you can get at least 3-4 times more.
CT results are evaluated on a stobal scale, usually in common people, as a percentage. The essence is this: in the sum of three exams and certificate you need to score a certain number of points and enter the university and faculty of your choice. As the situation with the exam.
Personally, my opinion is an exam. I, personally, do not understand the essence of this CT, because in the exam it is already clear whether he is smart or not. How many cases were that the smartest heads simply failed these tests and did not pass with their points to those faculties that they wanted to enter all their life. And you don’t want to trample the boots right after school, you know. And people sit on the exam, they will understand, if necessary, they will help, and here, on the test, the person is given to the computer whether he guessed or not. No place for blots or errors. Take the same test on CHOG'u - a friend in the word "dealer" made a mistake and wrote "dealer" in " B"(Complicated) part. And the computer did not count the answer, respectively, the friend did not receive 2-3 percent for this task, therefore he did not enter and went to trample the boots. At the exam they would have counted for the blot, but they would not have especially lowered the score and he would have entered. There are just such moments when you wedge or forget about the simplest, it would seem, things.
So, I, if I were in power, would return the form of admission that was before the introduction of the “European standard”.
