Prisoners of students fined for piracy by major media publishers can happily rub their hands. According to the popular Engadget resource , Sony BMG, a major player in the music market and a participant in many proceedings, has been held administratively liable for the use of unlicensed software. This was discovered by chance when one of the system administrators of the French branch of the company turned to the technical support of the manufacturer, PointDev. The license key indicated in the application turned out to be stolen, and the developers did not allow to start the lawsuit.
