YouTube Video Awards contest for the title of the best amateur video on the Web in 12 categories accepted all past weekend . Winners in each of them were selected by user voting for one of 6 candidates. Despite the fact that among the nominees there were really high-profile videos on the international (read - English) Internet with the number of views on the counters of several million, they are almost unfamiliar to the Russian, and almost any other non-American Internet provider.
