Epson Perfection and Photoshop scanner issue: could not complete the import command because of a problem with the acquisition module interface
A strange glitch that appears, it can be said, for an unknown reason, disrupts the scanning process. More precisely, the scanner’s operation becomes impossible - the error message simply appears: “Could not complete the import command because of a problem with the acquisition module interface”. Uninstalling, reinstalling software, cleaning the registry and other actions do not resolve the problem.
The decision is very trivial and does not lend itself to rational reflection. You must delete the .bmp preview file of the previous scan at:
C: \ Documents and Settings \ Username \ Application Data \ EPSON \ ESCNDV \ ES0041 \
The name of the last directory in the list may be different, depending on the scanner model.
