European politicians defend P2P

The Greens EFA coalition of two political parties that control 42 seats in the European Parliament launched a campaign under the slogan “I don't want to steal . The campaign’s goal is to counter anti-piracy propaganda launched by the audio and video recording industry. In their heartbreaking commercials, media corporations compare those who download movies by torrent with thieves and robbers. In contrast, advertising from Greens EFA should encourage people to download and share content with others. The video demonstrates that downloading torrents, stealing cars and stealing bags from old women is not the same thing. Politicians say they are against the criminalization of file sharing when ordinary users are turned into criminals.

P2P commercials contain these words: “I don’t steal handbags. I do not steal cars. But I DOWNLOAD movies ... The media industry is lobbying for the adaptation of laws that benefit them. They exploit musicians and sell propaganda ... Sharing is honest. ”
