1 TB Monolith by LaCie

The company the LaCie , worthy products which have repeatedly drawn attention to himself, released a drive with more than interesting design. Unlike the ambiguous and loud appearance of the Golden HDD , the new drive (with the unrealistic simplicity of the name LaCie Hard Disk ) is an example of minimalism and solidity.

Hard Disk designer Neil Poultontried his best: the device is a black rectangular monolith with a brilliantly matte surface (fingers will probably remain on it) and an elegant blue backlight. The power button, USB 2.0 port, power and cooler grill are located on the rear panel and they, of course, are not noticeable; so that these elements do not spoil the overall appearance of the device .

LaCie Hard Disk will be available from January 2008, and will cost from $ 119 (for the youngest, 320-gigabyte model), to $ 399 for a 1 TB device.
