Today PayPal refused to accept payment with my VTB24 MasterCard. As it turned out, not only with me and not only today.
Recently, the VTB24 payment system requires the transmission of a CVC (CVV) code for each transaction, which, of course, was not notified to anyone in advance.
I don’t know when PayPal will reconfigure its system for these changes and I doubt that it will reconfigure at all.
That’s such security to the detriment of the convenience of its own customers.
PS I wonder if there is information about which payment systems transmit this same CVC code and work with VTB24? Bank employees could not name them.
