The other day, and I decided to take up some interesting Internet affairs, and at the beginning I had one question for me / us ... Where can I ask the question besides the Habr? I don’t even imagine.
So, actually - the subject itself :-) How can I analyze the Target Audience before starting the project directly. That is - gender, income level, status, social status and everything else according to the standard set. As input - the subject of the project, the desired contingent, western competitors. The subject itself is quite wide.
Why this is done, I think, is clear - sharpening a project for an audience, targeted positioning, advertising, etc. And so, for general development - always useful information. Yes, and build the very logic of the project under it.
What mechanisms can there be? I see only this option so far: compiling a certain semantic core of the project, and then selecting users of some social network (VKontakte, for example, is a convenient thing), and studying profiles for the necessary data.
What are your thoughts on this?
