About the festival

The Chaos Constructions Antique'2007 Festival ($ CCA7) will be held on August 25 and 26 (including night) at the EURASIA Cultural and Exhibition Center (St. Petersburg, 13 Capitan Voronin St., Lesnaya Metro).

Since 1995, this is already the 10th computer festival, which we organize in a special, informal and non-commercial format, which we are proud of and at all costs try to keep.

This year the festival is held under the sign of "returning to the roots" - it is no coincidence that you see the word Antique in the title. Together we recall the times when computers were completely different, and each program was created as a real work of art.


What is Chaos Constructions Antique'2007?

• You will meet people like you who are passionate about computers, who from year to year come from all over Russia, Belarus, Ukraine to meet, talk, talk about programming, networks, computer graphics and music.
  We will create plenty of reason for such communication.
• We attach great importance to organizing an exhibition of technology at the festival - old, historical and simply interesting computers and devices. You can touch history not only figuratively but also in the literal sense of the word - our exhibition is not just exhibits. On the computers presented, it will be possible to work under now little-known operating systems, play games on machines where the amount of memory is limited to a few kilobytes. Also, some modern, noteworthy devices will be presented.
  Remember that from year to year the exhibition is created by your efforts. If you have an interesting working device, give people the opportunity to see and hear its story.
• Throughout the festival on a large screen we will demonstrate various videos, demos, films on computer themes. Interviews with exhibitors, stories about interesting software and hardware solutions.
• Finally, several serious as well as amusing contests will be organized, in which everyone will be able to participate.
