About love for favicons

I think all habraly people have a constant set of sites that they visit many times a month. FireFox has a convenient bookmark bar for this. But with the number of sites more than 20 - it is suitable only if you erase the name of the bookmark, leaving one favicon. It turns out quite conveniently and beautifully.

It even turns out something like a picture of the day. But the whole harmony of the picture is spoiled by the whitening spots of sites without favicon. To solve this issue, there is the Favicon Picker 2 extension , which allows you to change the icons in the bookmarks. One more item appears in the properties of the bookmark:

In the first figure, the result of the extension is visible on the example of the Runner and Spaylog sites, whose creators have not yet been able to make favicon.

Also, you probably noticed the tabs under the bookmarks bar. They can also be made consisting of only favicon-ok. To implement this feature there is a FaviconizeTab extension . You can configure the event to double-click (or other options) and reduce the tabs in size, which is also true for active surfing. Finally, I want to say:

Citizens! Use unique fav-icons! For this, you will be grateful from the users of FireFox and an extra argument in the struggle for bookmark visitors.

PS Maybe you should declare favicon an attribute of Web 2.0 so that everyone starts using them? ;)
