The counter before the release of the GTA 4 video counted the last seconds

The long-suffering Rockstar Games decided to start the advertising campaign of its current GTA 4 project in a somewhat unconventional way. Namely, by hanging the counter on the game’s main page before the release ... there’s no game, no video!
All this was watched by millions of fans of the game and it would be strange for Rockstar not to expect extraordinary loads at "Hour". Nevertheless, after the timer expired, the page began to look like this:

What went on for another ten minutes, after which the site still allowed visitors, though in a half-dead state - not one of the download links still works, and Real-time video loads with varying degrees of success.

The video actively demonstrates dynamic shadows, and especially the self-darkening effect, but it's better to watch than tell. In graphic terms, everything looks nice, but “Revolution!” screaming does not pull.

Is there at least one example of an ideal launch of something on the Internet with a large influx of visitors?
