Rambler Vision released in a new version
Rambler Vision , a service for posting and watching videos on the Internet, has been updated . The project came out in a new design, with an improved structure. A tag system has appeared - short notes with which you can mark a file. A tag cloud is noticeable for easier site navigation.
The plots in the Rambler Vision archives can be sorted by genre and plot features, according to Rambler . It is possible to select clips according to their rating and “freshness” - the date they were added to the service. Initially, all the videos stored in the database are divided into seven main groups: trailers, films, video art, video clips, broadcasts, cartoons, and amateur video.
“We are ready to post full-length films on Rambler Vision,” says project manager Darejan Mityaeva. “Rambler has developed an online payment system for multimedia content and is ready to integrate this service into Vision. Users will be able to view and download “big” films for money. And it will be legal, as we conclude direct agreements with copyright holders. ” According to Mityaeva, in February alone, more than 1.5 million people visited the service. She noted that with the existing interest in watching videos through the Network, film companies should seriously think about virtual movie distribution.
The developers promise that the media player built into the service will work in all popular browsers. If you especially liked one of the clips, you can save it in your personal favorite folder. In addition, the video can be published on the blog, used in emails.
When publishing a video, the system prompts the user to upload the file to the Rambler-Planet blog service. The user also has the right to establish restrictions on viewing the video, prohibit or allow its download.
The Rambler Vision service appeared in 2004, becoming the first of its kind site that brought together the best cartoons of Russian and foreign animators, documentary “short films”, celebrity interviews, etc. The key direction of the project is the publication of user video content.
