Third Mashup Camp Conference Opens
According to the GigaOM blog, the third exhibition-conference on the most modern technologies of the Internet industry Mashup Camp has opened in Boston .
The conference (more precisely, “non-conference”, unconference , as the creators call it) is entirely devoted to the direction of creating websites in the spirit of Web 2.0 called mashup. This is the preparation of a hodgepodge of the functions of various resources in order to get something new. For example, a mixture of the geographical service Google Maps and Wikipedia turned out to be the once-famous Wikimapia project , which gives users the opportunity to place marks on a world map.
As part of the exhibition, several project competitions from its participants are held. This time, the central theme was just different tools that help to better navigate in the city and live in it easily and with pleasure.
In the future, we will try to more fully cover the events of Mashup Camp 3 in a separate article.
