The company BitTorrent has announced an agreement with the developers of the program uTorrent - the client for the BitTorrent protocol. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
BitTorrent creator Bram Cohen said in a deal message that working together would help create the best client for this protocol. ΜTorrent creators will also be used to develop new applications. The µTorrent website and forum will be kept as it is, which will allow the community to continue to exist.
