The "digital section" between generations is increasing
21% of American parents are sure that their children spend too much time on the Internet, reports the Associated Press .
A survey conducted by the University of Southern California showed that approximately one in five parents in the United States is concerned about the internet addiction of their children. In 2000, there were only 11% of such restless "ancestors", that is, the "digital section" between generations is increasing.
However, concern for children’s addiction to television is present in 49% of parents who find watching TV shows much more harmful than web surfing. The fact is that 80% of fathers and mothers are convinced that children need access to the Internet for education.
