According to the official blog of the company , even after the end of the "style contest", users continued to offer new templates. That is why Six Apart decided to create a special archive where any user can download and install a particular design theme on their blog. Users can post their templates at any time - both during The Style Contest, and in between its various stages.
The Style Contest is a regularly held contest for blogging styles. Its winners receive solid cash prizes, and the styles they developed are used by LiveJournal and Vox, and are also available for download to bloggers using the MovableType and TypePad engines.
