The court obliged Rostekhregulirovanie to provide free access to state standard specifications

The St. Petersburg City Court upheld the decision obliging the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rostekhregulirovanie) to provide free access to state standards (GOSTs). This was reported by the press service of the non-profit organization Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information , on whose lawsuit the case was considered.

At a meeting on June 8, the St. Petersburg City Court rejected the Rostekhregulirovanie's cassation appeal against the decision of the Krasnogvardeisky District Court of St. Petersburg dated February 20, 206, according to which the Rostekhregulirovanie was ordered to provide free access to state standards by publishing them on the Internet. In addition, the city court introduced amendments to the decision of the court of first instance. In particular, the city court indicated that the standards should be published on the official website of Rostekhregulirovanie, and not on the websites of organizations subordinate to this agency.
