HMD Global introduced the new Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM phones
Yesterday , HMD Global , which acquired the rights to the Nokia mobile phone brand, presented to the public two new devices under this brand: the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual SIM.
Both products are classic push-button telephones without a touch screen and powerful iron.
Dimensions of the device are 118x50,2x13,5 mm, weight - 81 grams. Nokia 150 is equipped with a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320x240, a 0.3-megapixel camera and a fantastic 1020 mAh removable battery for such a “kid” (for comparison, the new iPhone 7 is equipped with a 1960 mAh battery). The manufacturer claims 22 hours of talk time or 31 days in standby mode and these figures are more than true, since there is nothing banal to consume energy in the new Nokia.
Managed by OS phone Series 30, the first devices on which Nokia were produced back in 2005. Of the modern solutions can be noted support for flash memory through a slot for microSD-cards with the ability to expand up to 32 GB. There is an FM-receiver in the device, and from the innovations, relatively to 2005, it is possible to note also a 3.5 mm headphone jack and CDMA (2.5G) support.
Earlier in the media appeared information that the new owner of the mobile brand Nokia will release under the legendary brand a smartphone running Android. In the meantime, apparently, it was decided to stir up public interest with several budget decisions: the recommended price for the Nokia 150 is $ 26. Compared with modern voracious smartphones, 22 hours of talk or 31 days in standby mode look like magic. Add to this the ability to use the phone as an MP3 player (without claims for ultra-high-quality sound) or 32 GB flash drives and we get a “brick”, which due to its simplicity, cheapness and love for the brand can find its buyer. The start of sales is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2017.
