Digital removal of the condom from the penis in porn films takes an hour of work for one second video

In 2012, the California Board of Occupational Safety and Health Standards established new requirements for the state porn industry employees: in explicit scenes, actors must wear condoms. This requirement of regulators added a lot of problems, significantly complicated the work of the actors, and the audience spoke out against it.

It was decided to resort to digital retouching frames. Unfortunately, this is a very time consuming process. To remove a condom from the penis, it takes an hour of work in the video editor for every second video . And there are a lot of such seconds in the film.

While the editors are working hard and fading at work (8 seconds each day), pornography studios initiated a lawsuit to cancel discriminatory norms. After all, the actors are already completely healthy, they are constantly tested and have all the information.

On February 18, studios were able to successfully challenge in Oakland court the norms established by the California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board. About a hundred actors and actresses came to the trial - they all spoke out against regulation, and then met the court decision with stormy applause. Some girls even burst into tears of happiness.

In support of the porn industry were human rights activists from the Coalition for Freedom of Speech (Free Speach Coalition).

But this is only the beginning of the struggle. Officials are trying to pass even tougher legislation on condoms throughout the state of California.

Under the current rules, the actors were supposed to wear condoms when filming in Los Angeles, but from November, the rules could come into effect in San Francisco, another pornographic film business center.

Film studios and the guild of actors appeal to all citizens to vote against the mandatory use of condoms at the vote in November 2016!

In California, about 70% of all pornography in the US is produced, with a total market of $ 15 billion per year.
