Appendix TipTalk offers an unusual service for fans eager to hear from their favorite star. The user who installed the application has the ability to pay the attention of his idol and get an answer from him in the form of a text message, photo or video.

Famous personalities, movie stars, sports stars, and other celebrities get the opportunity to monetize their fame by setting a fixed cost to communicate with fans. Currently, text message prices start at $ 20, photos start at $ 50, and videos start at $ 100.

Fans can choose a star from the list of registered in the service and ask them their questions, express admiration, ask for unusual greetings on the holiday, etc.

Stars get 50% of the money listed, Apple keeps 30% for itself, and TipTalk gets the remaining 20%. Fan money is returned to him if he has not received a response within 48 hours. All the stars are checked by the company for the authenticity of the person.

The idea of the application came to co-founder of the service Owen Deries [Owen DeVries] in an interview with one of the celebrities Instagram, which received thousands of messages a day, and responded to 2-3 per week. When Owen asked how often a star would respond to messages for money, she replied that she would devote all her free time to it.

The application could register, for example, musicians to earn money to record new albums and maintain the ability to continue their creative experiments. But so far in TipTalk there are no stars of the first magnitude, and for a real promotion, the creators will have to work hard and attract those to their service.
